Stash drops 23 points in personal finance rankings
Sometimes people are thrifty; sometimes they go crazy. We can see that when we compare this month’s edition of PYMNTS’ Ranking of personal finance providers apps to last month.
Last time things were very stable as the Top 10 competitors were ranked in the same order as the previous month.
In this month’s list, things are quite different. The same 10 players are here, but seven of them occupy a new position in the ranking. Additionally, thanks to a tied score, an eleventh contender made it into the Top 10.
Highlights from the latest rankings include a new runner-up, two contenders who have moved up four positions since last time and an application that has dipped from second to ninth place.
Now let’s look at additions and subtractions.
The first five
At the top of the ledger, as was the case last month, is Carillon. And, like last month, this app got a score of 99.
There is a new runner-up, however, and he is only two points behind. Robin Hood moved up one position since last time with a score of 97.
Also earning a spot on this month’s leaderboard is Albert Save and spend smarter. This app is now third with a score of 92.
There’s another winner at #4, like mint rose from fifth place with a score of 86.
There’s a big change in the next spot because Loyalty investments jumped four levels in the rankings and is now at No. 5. This app has a score of 84.
Top 10
Following right behind that is another big winner. Emma Budget Manager also moved up four positions since last time and took sixth place with a score of 78.
Holding the same position he had last time is myWisely Financial Wellness. This app is ranked seventh again, now with a score of 76.
Just a dot behind it is Tassels. This app dropped two levels in the rankings with a score of 75.
The next step in this very tight group of competitors is Stash. With a score of 73, which is 23 points lower than last month, this application fell from second to ninth place.
Right behind that, at No. 10, there is a tie between two competitors with a score of 72. Running was here last month, when Empower climbed into the Top 10. Together, they close out this month’s edition of the ranking of personal finance application providers. Don’t spend everything in one place!
